[HRD] Supporting our Newcomer partners in HRD
KNA (Korea Nuclear Association) is involved in enhancing high-level international cooperation and business partnership with overseas nuclear industries, especially by dispatching Korean experts to universities in newcomer countries willing to deploy nuclear power. Through the HRD program, KNA is supporting the establishment of nuclear infrastructure of newcomer countries and trying to contribute to the peaceful use of nuclear power. In this regard, KNA is supporting Dalat University in Vietnam, Kebangsaan University in Malaysia, and Chulalongkorn University in Thailand. Recently, KNA dispatched Korean experts to lecture for students of nuclear engineering department at these three universities. First, Lecture about "Material Engineering" was given at Dalat University in Vietnam from 1 May to 31 May. Second, KNA organized "Reactor Safety and Assessment, Modeling and Simulation" class for Kebangsaan University in Malaysia from 21 May to 28 May. Lastly, Lecture about “Nuclear and Radiation Safety and Security" was opened at Chulalongkorn University in Thailand from 22 May to 1 June. This program is expected to strengthen the cooperative partnership through high-level HRD, publicizing excellence of Korean nuclear technologies, and supporting construction of technological infrastructure.
