KNA strives to expand cooperation with countries that are willing to introduce nuclear power. As part of such efforts, KNA often hosts cooperation program that consists of nuclear seminar and visits to major nuclear facilities in Korea.

Under the program, KNA cordially invited key personnel from South Africa from May 20th to 26th. The program consisted of nuclear seminar and visits to Korea’s nuclear facilities including KNF, KINAC, DHI, and Shin Kori nuclear power plants.

Through this visit, Korea and South Africa exchanged expertise on the nuclear industry and discussed possible cooperation area.

During the visit, delegation showed great interest towards development of Korea’s nuclear industry. One of the delegates mentioned “The advancement in technology through innovation and development of own nuclear technology is impressive and admirable.”
